Jan Hamshoro is a filmmaker and writer. He was born in Aleppo and currently residing in Germany. In addition to film scripts, he also writes poetry and short stories. "Words over Love" marks his debut as a published author. In this book he translates his passion for poetry, a passion that has always been present in his heart. He got his Bachelor's degree in Media studies at the university of Siegen.
