In a world that thrives on diversity, justice should be fundamental in every aspect of our society. This plays a major role in the wider world, where women should have equal opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed. Unfortunately, the current situation for women is far from equal. Women are more affected in environmental or social issues such as climate change, poverty or abuse. They are more likely to suffer from less nutrition and less education. They have lower chances in running businesses or moving to higher positions.
My name (as you probably now know) is Sara Zor, and I am an 18-year-old high school student. Even though I live in Germany, my roots are in the Turkish Black Sea. This book motivated me because of my village in Turkey, in which the educated were seen as lucky. I always wondered why women are the ones who need to work like men and on top of that, need to do the housework. And yet I felt like their role wasn't appreciated enough. So here I am doing my research on the importance of women in the economy. I have huge hopes for the future of enabling injustice as we become more aware of it each day. Besides, I am not really a writer; even though I read books in my free time, this is actually my first book ever.
