Some people call this 'Flash Fiction'; writing a story in less than one thousand words. That's quite a challenge; but one I accepted, to produced eight short stories on a wide range of topics and in a variety of styles - humour, mystery, historical, love, and a little light pondering of life and death.
Included here, you will find a description of the perfect bank robbery, a Viennese mystery, an unusual love story, and even a little Leprechaun hunting in Ireland. There is the trivial, modern-day problem of ordering a coffee to the weightier, older issue of what to do once a war has been won.
The aim is to make each story interesting, meaningful and enjoyable; and all in less than one thousand words.
