Emily Heisterkamp is always searching for a deeper meaning - in her relationships, in life and her existence in general. One could say she was living a normal life with ups and downs, trying to turn her passion for writing into a career by studying Journalism. Sometimes struggling with her self-worth, mental health or dealing with heartbreak like any teen and twen does. What she did not expect was her cancer diagnosis at the age of 22. Winning this exhausting battle gave her a new outlook on life and the courage to turn her experiences into art.
