Mehr Infos
Set against the stark beauty of the English coast, The Tree We Planted is a slow-burning tale of family, love and the places and people we return to when the world grows cold.

Eleanor never planned to return to the village by the cliffs. Not after everything it held, and everything it took. But one letter draws her back to cobblestone streets dusted with snow, the warmth of a small café, and the unspoken history she shares with those who stayed behind.

In a place where the sea is always near and the wind carries the scent of memory, she finds herself caugth between the weigth of the past and the fragile beauty of the present. And somewhere along the winding paths and ivy-clad cottages, love begins to stir. Unexpected, gentle, and impossible to ignore.

A tender, atmospheric story of family, love, and finding your way home, perfect for readers of slow-burn romance and winter-lit fiction.

Kim Weber

Kim Weber was born in 2008 in Hünfeld/Germany, and learned early on that stories are not only told, but felt.
Her debut novel, The Tree We Planted, blends warmth, melancholy, and the feeling of home into a story that speaks not only about people, but also about what remains unspoken between them.
Inspired by quiet moments that speak louder than dialogue, she writes with a language that leaves space for images, memories, and whatever the reader wishes to place within it.
Outside of writing, she loves reading, baking, travelling, the sea or going out with friends, things that sometimes find their way into her stories.
With The Tree We Planted, Kim Weber invites readers to take their time; with reading, with feeling, and with all the things we sometimes forget in daily life.
To read her work is to be offered not just a story, but to encounter what connects us as human beings.
