This novel is the culmination of an earlier series of books. It tells the story of three friends who graduated together with degrees in physics and remained friends for the rest of their lives, whilst retaining their sense of curiosity. The narrator traverses the entirety of his ´Unified Physics, not as a pilgrim, but rather as a tortoise, which must slowly but inexorably explore every nook and cranny along its path. At the end of its journey, the tortoise discerns the meaning of our lives in the preservation of life itself.
Peter Jakubowski is a physicist and universal philosopher who has applied his Unified Physics to the whole of science. In his latest novels, he describes the consequences of this unification for our perception of the world in which we live.
