I am a 25 year old historian who recently got her second university degree. Having had the opportunity to study in Germany, England and Ireland, I was also lucky enough to get to live in those different countries. I have been writing since I was little, but only ever published one short story. I greatly enjoy a well-writtten piece of dystopian fiction, horror, thriller, or stories about the small and simple things in life. As someone who is a hopeless romantic with little romantic experience but also a feminist constantly confronted with the harsh realities of many relationships and marriages through statistic, history, the news and experiences of people close to me, I wanted to highlight how gravely traumatising and altering even experiences of emotionally abusive relationships can be, when they are often dismissed as something to just get over.
