Æschylus was a young man, cursed with a name he did not want to live up to. His aspirations in becoming a succesful politician that actually cared about his people were so strong, even dying and coming back as a Vampire couldn't scare him off.
But getting to the desired position is not the hardest part of his journey, far from it. How will he navigate the challenges of corruption and treachery now that he's also a part of it?
It doesn't help, that there is a storm in the making inside him, his emotions swirling and making his gut feel heavy with shame.
Storytelling has always been a passion for me ever since I was little. I believe there is weight to the stories we tell and the way we do so. My goal was always to bring people to think outside the box, to willingly try and see all the sides there are. That is one of the reason my first two short stories are the way they are; they both deal with different types of moral problems and debates that are crucial to our society.
That is also why there is no right or wrong side in my stories. Sometimes you sympathise more with the "villains", sometimes the narrator, but if you really thought about it, both sides have their own reasons. I believe crytical thinking skills are crucial for all of us, and although I try to educate with my stories, you also need to think for yourself to get to the real depth.
Every story has something to offer, sometimes you just need to dig deeper.
