What can pigs teach us about happiness and life? More than you might think at first! Through 36 reflections on life, accompanied by expressive photographs of pigs, Gudrun Bornhöft explores what it means to lead a contented, self-determined life. With humour and philosophical curiosity, she combines the ideas of great thinkers with her own reflections on the joy of living, self-knowledge, responsibility and tolerance. Rather than offering ready-made answers, the book is about the freedom to find one's own path. And to grant others that same freedom. A little book to make you smile, think and return to again and again. And an invitation to look at life with a little more serenity and joy.
