The Green Parrot

Far from our own knowledge, a village arrangement one day broke into war. In the aftermath, a suspicious figure in green rose to power. For those left behind, the women, the orphans, the unwanted, survival means readjustment to the old order of their own world. Helga, an orphan deemed worthless by the villagers, begins to suspect that even those in power don't understand the rules they enforce.

The Green Parrot is a dark literary novella about power, complicity, and the people a community decides are worthless.
