The Fascist-Trumpel-Tier is a small collection of poems gaging the temperature of what is going in the world at this very moment. Inspiration for this collection of 'Sort of Poems' was Max Ernst's painting: Das Faschistische Trampeltier from 1932, which was his depiction and critique of the rise of fascism in the thirties in Germany and elsewhere. Our times echo the thirties unfortunately with the rise of the ultra right. Although history does not repeat itself it does rhyme and echo through the ages. Wishing all those fighting fascism, in their own way, strength and perseverance. I am afraid we are in it for the long hall. Although resistance is made up of individuals, only the many will undo where it seems we are unfortunately heading for again. Despite that, lets not give up hope for a better world.
