The Abilities of Death

Two villains. One common enemy. A battle between two sides becomes a war with the sole aim of total mutual destruction.

After discovering the ministry's cruel intentions, Nic changes allegiance and is now considered a villain, too. Soon, though, his past catches up with him, forcing him to confront it and Nic has to decide whether to fight his inner demons or let them win.
Benji no longer has to fight the ministry alone. While planning the ministry's downfall, he notices that Nic is struggling with more than he cares to admit and he quickly realises that he isn't the only one dealing with a traumatic past.

Nic and Benji learn more about each other's dark histories as they uncover another terrible truth about the ministry. But between the lies and the truth, a war is raging, and in the end they must decide whether to fight it or risk being utterly destroyed.
