The starred one and the haunted one, two men living their lives in a cruel, post-apocalyptic wasteland and struggling with different kinds of immortality.

While K is cursed with an undying body in an undying land, doomed to wander the planet until the ends of the earth, D dreams of his past lives time and time again, dreams of knowledge and magic and pain and love. Dreams of the starred one he is searching for lifetime and lifetime again.

Like the push and pull of tide and ebb, they find each other just to be torn apart again, a never-ending cycle of heartbreak and longing.
