Gavdos is an island in the south of Crete in Greece. It depends to the west part of Crete an you can go there with boat from Paleochora Sougia Agia Roumeli or Chora Sfakion in the South of Crete.
The island is protected area and you can see there many interesting things about geology palaeontoloy and so on.
Also some interesting archeological sites you can see there.
In this book you find a description of some typical samples with geological or palaeontological interest.

Anton Luible

Luible Anton, born in September 1968, studied mineralogy at the Technical University of Munich.
He lives in Germany Bavaria and has been travelling a lot in south and southeast europe.
He visited also some times the island of Crete and Gavdos in Greece.
