Seventeen chapters of life. Life is a Story - story.one

I have spent the last few years of my life running away from any memory of everything that has hurt me. But I have finally begun to understand that there is freedom in acknowledging that I have been hurt. The things I've been through, my pain, is not something I should be ashamed of.

"I'm not where I want to be yet, but that doesn't mean I can't be grateful for where I am right now. The grass is not completely green anywhere in the world, but it will always seem so if we don't stop for a moment to look around us and see all that we have accomplished and how blessed we can be in our lives, even with the smallest things we tend to take for granted."
