My name is Roula, with a rolled R. I study educational science and social work at the University. As someone born in Syria, Ive experienced both war and flight, but in the end, Im only human. I would like to share these instructive and inspiring stories from my homeland with the world.

As part of this book project, I interviewed 16 Syrians and documented their moving stories. I strongly believe that a bright future is possible, and I actively strive for change. Telling stories can work real miracles.
