Elena C. Colin is a 15 year old girl from Austria, who fell ill with anorexia at 12 and has since then been in various treatments in hospitals and undergone lots of therapy sessions. Before she started writing poems - she wrote stories about her own imaginary world, until it became a bit boring to her. That's when she started writing her own poems about her illness, to cope with her struggles. She wanted to help people struggling aswell and that's when she participated in her school's poetry slam about 'change' - where she wrote a poem about her illness and won first place. Since then, she has wrote more than 20+ poems about her life, 12 found in this book, and is looking forward to writing more. She wrote this book in hopes to maybe help people, who either struggle aswell - or parents/relatives who want to get a better insight of how it might look in an anorexic persons head.
