I started writing "people around me" purely for myself. I never planned on sharing anything Id written, so now it feels even more surreal to be able to share these poems that were once just silly little thoughts and ideas buried in diaries and my notes' app, I never thought Id get around to filling a book.

I write about people I know, hate and love, but its not just about others, I also write about thoughts that just wont leave my head or about the way the people around me make me feel. It helps to shift your point of view. All of these poems are written in different styles, just "experiments" that turned out to be something

Through "People Around Me," I've discovered my voice, my perspective, and the power of self-expression. It's not just about the people around me; it's about the world within me that poetry has unravelled.
