Kevin James Richards is an educator, currently teaching English at a private school in Germany, where he lives with his family. When not writing he enjoys making music, cycling and consuming copious amounts of chocolate.

Optix is Kevin's first novel. Also written by the author are the following short stories: Castle of Stone, The 4 Walls, The Core of the Matter, and Master and the Apprentice.

His poetry collections are: Subjects and Objects, Autumn Songs, Resolution, Elements, Clinical, Ghosts, Winter Songs and Eden Fall
