Neither here nor whole. Life is a Story - story.one

I thought grief belonged to the dead, until I learned what it meant to lose someone who still breathes. The day you left and remained in my chest marked the start of living with a ghost. Haunting the edges of my reality until I could no longer tell where I ended and where you began. Slowly, it molded me into something I could not recognize, past the border of reality, neither here not whole.


Each poem is a fragment, trembling an honest, with bruised memories. This book is for the ones who still dream of someone who left, who replay old memories like lullabies, and who are slowly learning that maybe the most important kind of love is the one you give yourself.
