What do the housing crisis, death, dating apps, and Artificial Intelligence have in common? They are all facets of the modern human condition. This sci-fi short story collection explores what it's like to be a human today... and maybe even tomorrow.
Ayshan Aliyeva is a writer and poet, driven by a deep curiosity about the human condition. Alongside her passion for storytelling, she is currently pursuing a PhD in neurogenetic psychiatry, where her scientific work explores the intricate connections between the mind and genetics. As an Ausländer herself, she moved to Germany almost a decade ago. This story draws deeply from her own experiences navigating life between two homes, as well as the stories of people she has interviewed along the way.
Her writing is deeply influenced by her scientific background, just as her research is shaped by her love for literature. Ayshan has a keen interest in philosophy and is driven by a desire to understand what it truly means to be human whether through the lens of writing or science.
