Blood, viscous fluid, the juice of life, 55% plasma, 45% cellular fragments: red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets.

Menstrual blood is the only blood that doesn't originate from violence, and yet it remains shrouded in a retrograde social taboo, tinged with impurity, guilt, and disgust.

We are all born crying out for life, naked, innocent, vulnerable, drenched in this sacred and blessed fluid of creation.

So why is disgust promoted around the topic?
