There are six publications in issue 11, I-2025 of "Journal of Ethnic Microhistory".
1. Nadja Thelen-Khoder dwells on two for the world history meaningful dates. On 27 January 1944, the Soviet Red Army lifted the siege of Leningrad that was encircled by Nazi Germany and Finland for 872 days. On 27 January 1945 the Soviet troops liberated the Auschwitz extermination camp. This day is commemorated as International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The editorial addendum to this essay expands on the photo of wounded children taken in the Leningrad Children's Hospital named after Karl Gottlieb Rauchfuß. Duke Konstantin Friedrich Peter of Oldenburg founded this hospital. His daughter Alexandra was canonized as Saint Anastasia by the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate. The article is written in German and preceded by an English abstract.
2. Tatiana Friesen sums up in her report "A Russian Soldier Rests Here..." the situation pertaining to a Russian soldier's grave in the forest near Biesterfeld (North Rhine-Westphalia); it was looked after for decades by a German farmer family. The article is written in German and preceded by an English abstract.
3. Prof. Dr. Volodymyr Saviovskyi wrote his article about the restoration of Dortmund's churches after World War II in Russian in order to make the content more accessible to refugees and immigrants from Eastern Europe, which can contribute to their conscious community integration. The article is preceded by an English abstract.
4. Prof., Doctor of Pedagogical Science K. J. Ibrayeva, Prof., Doctor of Pedagogical Science Ileskan Smanov, and Asel Spabekova, B.A. from Kazakhstan review the cultural heritage of Turkic-
speaking thinkers of 10th-14th centuries and their impact on the patriotic education of modern younger generation. The treatise is authored in English.
5. The article of Gregory Popov clarifies the scale of repression in the USSR based on Soviet archival documents. It reflects the results of the author's research on the era of Stalinism in the USSR. The author comes to a preliminary conclusion that about 7% of the population of the USSR were subjected to repression in the form of imprisonment and exile.
6. Dipl.-Hist. Alex Dreger discusses the article "The Goals of Russianness" (Die Ziele des Russentums) published in August 1886 in several issues of "Dortmund Newspaper" (Dortmunder Zeitung). The article is written in English and is supplemented with the original newspaper text in German.
