Karl H. Federschmidt, Dr. theol., editor of the series ″Intercultural Pastoral Care and Counselling″ since 1996. He served as hospital chaplain, parish minister, and lecturer for Ecumenical Theology and Religious Studies at Kirchliche Hochschule (Protestant University) and at the University of Wuppertal, Germany. Currently he teaches religious education at a vocational school in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Daniël J. Louw, Ph.D., Professor at University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, and Dean of the faculty of theology (2001-2005). President of the International Academy of Practical Theology (IAPT) (2003–2005), currently President of the International Council for Pastoral Care and Counselling (ICPPC).
