Dr. Karla Valdivieso is a scientist and storyteller whose life artfully combines research and fiction. Born in Ecuador, Karla moved to Spain at 22 to pursue a master's degree before relocating to Vienna to complete her PhD in Regeneration, specializing in aging.

From a young age, Karla found both inspiration and escape in the pages of books, where science and storytelling intertwined to captivate her imagination. This dual passion has culminated in In the Dance of Time, her debut novel. Through a rich and emotional narrative, the book explores profound themes of love, resilience, and the quest for meaning.
