We follow Ije navigate existing in a religious fanatical Family as the "strange child". Soon this strangeness is tackle by sending Ije to church to deliverance. This horrifying experience triggers the emergence of OBODO - a mysterious entity, a friend who has waited in the darkness for years?.
As Ije returns home, the barrier between imagined and reality begin to dangerously blur.
Tragedy strikes again and again, leading to a final act of mercy - OBODO offers Ije an escape from a world than never loved them.
