FLICKERING SUBJECTS

In the early 2000s, Swiss author and media artist Hans Peter Riegel was one of the first artists in the world to take a critical look at the Internet. Under the pseudonym SIS.TM, he investigated the dark side of the Internet before the term "darknet" was coined. The present volume is a project from this time that dealt with the individual expression of people in the still new medium"blog". It is about being lost in the ocean of the web but also dealing with this lostness in an ironic way. The texts are an interesting and sometimes entertaining testimony to this times.
