Each passenger carries a secret as a physical burden: a celebrated speaker for womens rights whose lavender scarf hides a truth that defies her every word; a husband whose polished exterior is betrayed by the scar that is his one inescapable memory; a young widow whose handbag and folded letters are a fragile gamble on a man she's never met; and an old man whose empty wooden cage rattles with a lifetime of broken promises.

Trapped by the train's relentless motion, their polite silence shatters. With nowhere to look but into each others reflections, they begin to peel away the carefully constructed lies they have spent their lives running from. They share no names. They make no promises.
