"Hearts are made to be broken," as once was said by Oscar Wilde. And Eve knows it all too well. When her relationship came to an end, she was left with broken pieces. Now she must find a way to mend them back into what's had been her heart.
I am a strange author who finds it difficult to write my characters' POV in first-person and my own POV in third-person. I have been a writer ever since my grandmother gave me a small notebook "for my first novel" when I was ten. That "novel" ended after three chapters and was severely flawed, but it gave me something more valuable: a dream. My grandmother hated her maiden name. It was unique and unlike any other. The happiest day of her life was the day she could take her husband's name as well as marrying him, of course. I, on the contrary, always felt shy spelling out my surname, given to me by my grandfather, and wished for a surname like hers instead. My grandmother passed away a few years ago, before I started publishing any of my works. But I think she would be both angry and happy with me for taking her surname, "Price," as my pen name.
