Lina Zubedi was born and raised in Bonn. During her studies, she mainly focused on English literature and gained a passion for creative writing. Noticing a soft spot for romance stories, Lina found herself particularly drawn to the work of Jane Austen and has quickly claimed Pride and Prejudice as her favourite novel. She has been on stage for dance and theatre productions since her childhood and has been active in the Bonn University Shakespeare Company for several years where she and her best friend decided to direct a play in honour of Austen's novels. For this idea, Lina wrote a script which included scenes from Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Persuasion, Mansfield Park and Northanger Abbey. The finished script has then been elected to be performed at the Grüne Spielstadt in summer 2022 with the name "The Jane Austen Love Tour – Hauntingly Romantic". In the same year, Lina has taken part in the Young Storyteller contest through which she got in contact with StoryOne. In her free time, she takes singing and guitar lessons and enjoys drawing.
