Filip Schibul was born in Serbia in 1989 and grew up in Kikinda before moving to Novi Sad to attend university. In 2015, he relocated to Regensburg, Germany, and currently resides in Munich, where he plays guitar and sings in a band. Holding a PhD in Biochemistry, his research has been published in various scientific journals, but his true passion lies in writing fiction. Since childhood, Filip has been captivated by fiction novels, often creating and narrating extended stories about the characters. He began writing these stories down during his school years and has continued ever since, with some pieces published on his personal blog. Filip enjoys exploring everyday life with a unique twist, a theme central to his debut book, Breather, which was written as part of the story.one and Thalia Young Storyteller Award and invites readers into his world of the (im)possible.
