Life as a high school student close to graduation is stressful. Add to that a part-time job as a time-traveling courier, and you can imagine the stress Karolina Doubek is under.

You'd think such a life would be exciting and adventurous, but you'd be wrong.
Delivering letters for her mentor and helping her with odd jobs was usually as exciting as it got. Her uneventful, if unusual, job mostly just ate up time Karo would have preferred to use for studying or for going out with her friends on the weekends.

Until said mentor suddenly disappears. Or she gets herself kidnapped. Karo is still trying to figure that one out.
Regardless, she needs to find her. Or she'll have to run errands through all of time and Vienna for the rest of her life.
