A Battle in the Mind

Roberto served in the military for years. He
functioned like a machine. Back in civilian life, his
past catches up with him. Instead of peace,
Roberto finds only a yawning void. The diagnosis:
severe depression. But it doesn`t stop at paralyzing
sadness. Soon, the boundaries of reality begin to
blur. Roberto hears voices on the deserted streets
of his hometown. He sees threats in the
supermarket that don`t exist. A full-blown
psychosis brings him to his knees. Trapped
between brutal flashbacks and delusions of
persecution, he isolates himself completely
